HORSE OWNERS

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE/HORSES?
Can you travel to Killossery Lodge Stud?

One of the best things about university riding is inclusion; students never need to have their own horse and riders will always ride an unfamiliar horse during competition. This levels the playing field and gives all students the thrill of competing without the prerequisit of owning a horse. But, this means we need alot of horses over the weekend and need to partner with local horse owners to make this fantastic event a success. Owners will get paid for renting their horses at our event and your horses will be ridden by novice riders to seasoned competitors in the various rounds of jumping and dressage. It is also an excellent event to showcase any for sale horses.

We have strict rules with regards to horse welfare and will have a zero tolerance attitude to any dangerous or unsafe riding. We  are looking for sound, safe horses. Your horses will be treated as if they are our own.

We need horses of all levels suitable to compete from 90cm to 1.20cm in show jumping and prelim to prix st.george in the dressage. There will be a mix of riders at the event and will consider ponies and horses.
